These are our classic 11" Everyday bowls in Hudson but they got a touch hotter in the kiln than we normally like. When this glaze gets a bit hot (roughly 2340 rather than 2330) it gets a bit shiny with an almost metalic purplish hue to it. Personally I think it's gorgeous, just not exactly what we're looking for.
As with all of our pieces, they're microwave and dishwasher safe!
Porcelain or Stoneware. What's the difference. Why does it matter?
The two clay bodies we use (Porcelain and Stoneware) are both variations of clay dug from the earth which are then refined, formed by hand, glazed with our custom colors, and fired into functional pieces of pottery.
