We have multiple options for dinner ware, but our autumn Connor McGinn is what we like using best. It makes us happy. The colors are rich & food looks great on them. We even think it tastes better too!
I discovered Connor McGinn’s pottery at Salinger’s Orchards and bought several pieces as gifts for my daughter and son-in-law. The pieces are simply sensational… I went back for a set for myself—the glaze is matte white and elegant. Perfect for lunch and snacks (I bought small plates with matching cup/saucer). All beautiful and fun to use. I hand wash and treasure the beauty of Connor’s work.
We bought online without seeing the dishes. We couldn’t be happier. We love the dishes.
I bought four cereal bowls. They work for cereal just great! But let me tell you, there's lots of things you can also put in a bowl like this. Rice, mixed vegetables, pickles, abula, apple sauce, bacon, barley soup, beer soup, beer, corn chowder, clam chowder, chicken noodle soup, crab bisque, lobster bisque, creams of broccoli, celery, chicken, potato, tomato, mushroom, and cucumber soup, all sorts of salads, spaghetti with red sauce, buttered noodles, tortelli with pesto, fruit, chips, various deserts, buttons, ribbons, pinecones. The possibilities are endless!
I can't eat the tomato soup or the pasta with red sauce due to an unrelated tomato allergy. But my wife can, so that's why I included those items. The stuff at the end isn't for eating but will also fit in the bowl.
They’re beautiful and a delight to use and look at. And durable thus far. I’ll tell you in 125years. ;-)
The best pottery ever
We’re always happy to get a variety of new pieces from Connor. Some are new adds, some are replacements, but they are all great additions to our ever growing collection!
Beautiful and the perfect size to set next to my stove.
My husband has been very 'grumpy' since he broke his favorite coffee mug but no more. This mug is just the perfect size for his morning coffee. He is back to his old self.
The creations from CMG Studios are works of art and the simple task of grabbing a dish from the cabinet elicits thoughts of “these are cool” and a we find ourselves always commenting on our own plates — it’s kind of ridiculous.
The staff — Connor/Grace/the other dude are welcoming and chill.
More important, the product is quality. It’s the only place we intend to buy flatware in the foreseeable future.
I bought a few of these mugs while at Salinger Orchard in North Salem. They are perfectly designed to be held and to keep our morning coffee, a bit warmer than the average cup. I love the colors and I now have I believe a complete collection. We all love to hold these mugs and to enjoy our morning brew in them.
My mother and I have been hunting for the perfect mugs for our morning coffee basically since the moment I could drink caffeine. We finally found it.
Gave our daughter and son-in-law 4 cereal bowls for their FEB/MAR birthdays to match larger CM bowls that were given to them as wedding gifts. The order arrived in CA in a timely manner and in perfect condition and are loved by the "kids"! It's so difficult to know from afar what is needed that would make a good impression and I feel that the CM dishes do just that! They are artistic, hand made dishes that are appreciated by those looking for a unique gift to give that will also, without a doubt, be very much appreciated by the reciever!
Great and unique pieces!
I love this mug!! we have used it for espresso, affogato and ice cream already Can't wait to use it for salsas on taco night
Conner’s coffee mugs are the only ones I need for my coffee or tea. If my mug is dirty I will wash it so I can use it for my 2nd or 3rd cup of the day. It’s a great gift because everyone asks me about my beautiful mug. I love it ❤️
