I discovered Connor McGinn’s pottery at Salinger’s Orchards and bought several pieces as gifts for my daughter and son-in-law. The pieces are simply sensational… I went back for a set for myself—the glaze is matte white and elegant. Perfect for lunch and snacks (I bought small plates with matching cup/saucer). All beautiful and fun to use. I hand wash and treasure the beauty of Connor’s work.
We bought online without seeing the dishes. We couldn’t be happier. We love the dishes.
I bought four cereal bowls. They work for cereal just great! But let me tell you, there's lots of things you can also put in a bowl like this. Rice, mixed vegetables, pickles, abula, apple sauce, bacon, barley soup, beer soup, beer, corn chowder, clam chowder, chicken noodle soup, crab bisque, lobster bisque, creams of broccoli, celery, chicken, potato, tomato, mushroom, and cucumber soup, all sorts of salads, spaghetti with red sauce, buttered noodles, tortelli with pesto, fruit, chips, various deserts, buttons, ribbons, pinecones. The possibilities are endless!
I can't eat the tomato soup or the pasta with red sauce due to an unrelated tomato allergy. But my wife can, so that's why I included those items. The stuff at the end isn't for eating but will also fit in the bowl.
